प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्ष 2017 से 2022 तक का भारत के 75 वर्ष होने का समय ठीक वैसा ही है
जैसा 1942 से 1947 तक का समय था जब भारत आजाद हुआ। 1942 में भारत ने करेंगे या मरेंगे का प्रण लिया था और अब हमें करेंगे और करके रहेंगे का प्रण लेना है।
Mr Modi said, remembering special occasion like anniversary of Quit India movement gives people of India strength as a nation. He said, the country's freedom was not only about India but also it was a defining moment in bringing an end to colonialism in other parts of the world too.
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि भारत छोड़ो आन्दोलन के वर्षगांठ जैसे अवसर देशवासियों को ताकत प्रदान करते हैं। श्री मोदी ने कहा कि भारत का स्वतंत्र होना मात्र केवल एक घटना नहीं थी। इससे अंग्रेजों के उपनिवेशवाद का पतन भी शुरू हुआ था और यह विश्वभर में फैला।
Congress President Sonia Gandhi said, during the freedom struggle, Pandit Nehru spent several years in jail and many Congress workers died in jail. She said, a lot of atrocities were committed on the protesters, but no one stepped back. She said today it seems there is a threat to country's secular, liberal and free thinking.
इव अवसर पर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने कहा कि स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू कई वर्षों तक जेल में रहे और अनेक कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ताओं की जेल में मृत्यु भी हो गई। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदर्शनकारियों पर अंग्रेजों ने अनेक अत्याचार किए लेकिन कभी कोई पीछे नहीं हटा। श्रीमती गांधी ने कहा कि अब ऐसा लगता है कि देश के धर्मनिरपेक्ष, उदार और स्वतंत्र विचारों पर खतरा पैदा हो गया है।
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss the New India initiative and 2022 development agenda with all the district magistrates this evening. The interaction through webcast, named New India Manthan, will be the first such live address by the Prime Minister to the District Heads who are the implementing authorities of all welfare schemes of the Central government in the ground.
The interaction comes a month after Mr Modi interacted with Chief Secretaries of all states and union territories in a day-long meet over their role in Transforming India.

प्रधानमंत्री की राज्य और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के सभी मुख्य सचिवों के साथ बदलते भारत में उनकी भूमिका पर महीने भर पहले हुई बैठक के बाद ये बातचीत हो रही है।
