  • On 7 November, the High Level Advisory Group (HLAG) set up by the Minister of Commerce has recommended this amnesty scheme to bring black money back in India - Elephant Bond (unaccounted wealth holders can disclose their assets by paying minimum tax and have to invest 40 percent of such wealth).
  • Finance Ministery on 6 November declared that this much amount will be provided to the stressed housing sector - Rs 25000 Cr.
