Answer Key-

Q-(1) Sol-(4)

Q-(2) Sol-(2)

Ratio of speed of

Train : Car : Bus = 6 : 5: 3

Speed of Bus =  k/h.

Difference between speed of train & car
=

Q-(3) Sol-(1)

Ratio of speeds between A,B and C is 6:3:1

So the ratio between time taken by them is=1:3:6

Time taken by C is 78 min.

Hence, time taken by A is = = 13 min

Q-(4) Sol-(2)

Let speed of A and B is 2x and 3x respectively,

So time taken by A and B is 3x and 2x respectively.

Hence, 3x-2x=20=> x= 20

Ratio between time taken by A and B =A: B=60:40=>3:2

Q-(5) Sol-(2)

Let total distance =x km

Total time taken by Abhinav=4hours, and by Praveen =3.5 hours

From the question we know that at 8 pm Praveen starts the journey and Abhinav completed his half of journey. So they cross each other at the remaining half of the distance

Time they meet after 8 am=

So, they cross each other at 8:56 am.

Q-(6) Sol-(5)

1843.2 – ? % of 1850 = 1012.5

?=45

Q-(7) Sol-(2)

Q-(8) Sol-(1)

Q-(9) Sol-(3)
